Lionel Mandrake Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 A truly odd question to be sure, but does anybody out there have any idea what was the type and color of primer used initially on M1 Abrams tanks? The reason I ask is that I am toying with the idea of building an old Tamyia “vanilla” Abrams kit as an FSD example still on the line prior to final painting. No rush – even if I were to start the project this weekend, I probably wouldn't get to painting the top-coat for a good 2-5 years...
