I wonder if they miss the irony of naming their tank the 2nd in the line of Luck. Kind of makes one wonder what type of luck was had by the first.

Was that tiny hole already there or was it made the HEP?

Has to have been made by the HEP. I figure the armor was thin enough that a plug could be popped out. You can just make out the same thing on the turret rear.

Aha! Thanks. Thought at first it was a Leclerc with the turret facing back. Then the driver's position had me thinking CV90-120 but turret looked too wide and low for that. Turns out that isn't a turret ahehehe!

Maybe 'LL I' was a turn-in, or at least kept the crew alive. It's hard to imagine a crew carrying over a 'hard-luck' name.

Nah, not that far down range. Just in front of the tank, they form the frontal foundation of the firing position.
