JasonJ Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 The second part of the Chinese says "Happy New Year Everyone" Don't know the first part.
Archie Pellagio Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 (edited) K1 and Abrams next to eachother in the same photo is pretty cool! Edited May 5, 2014 by Archie Pellagio
Mr King Posted May 5, 2014 Author Posted May 5, 2014 K1 and Abrams next to eachother in the same photo is pretty cool! Agreed!
mnm Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Those damned Yanks had so many troops they could spare them as telephone poles!
Ken Estes Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I think there were many other poles in that pic, not necessarily visible.
mnm Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 If he were of Polish ancestry he'd have been quite qualified
Mr King Posted May 10, 2014 Author Posted May 10, 2014 I think there were many other poles in that pic, not necessarily visible. They have good taste, that redhead is good looking plus she is bringing them food Cant really tell about her raven haired friend, but if I was in their spot, I would jump just about anything female and willing that would have me. lol
BLAH Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 I like the K1A1. I reckon we (Australia) should have just bought those instead of the M1A1s (K1A2 more likely). Diesel, lighter and close enough in capabilities (120mm gun). Throw modified TUSK bits on the side hull and you're good to go. Ammunition stowage is probably the main drawback.
Panzermann Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Or AUS could have kept their Leopards running for a few years more and bought K2. It's not like Leopards were unsupportable, They are still being used around the world. =============== Seeing this potograph I wonder if the protection systems lamps make the tank easier detectable? The reflex seen on one of the reflectors would be detrimental me thinks.
jmcmtank Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Probably not visible to the human eye, but probably like a beacon on IR.
Sovngard Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 So, this is where the Tank-Net servers are located ?
Mr King Posted May 11, 2014 Author Posted May 11, 2014 So, this is where the Tank-Net servers are located ? "Hope For Peace" in Beirut.
BP Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) It's like a giant game of armored car Jenga. Edited May 12, 2014 by BP
Chris Werb Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 It's like a giant game of armored car Jenga. I love to see interesting old armoured vehicles preserved, but partially encasing them in concrete is a step too far!
Archie Pellagio Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 There is a whole album of this tower from all angles on my FB for the privileged few...
JasonJ Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Nice Chi-ha wrecks. Any idea where the picture was taking? another appears to be an amphib tank Picture is not coming up.
