Damian Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 A bit humoristic side note. Photo where M1 drives over a plane, can be apotheosis of what, we tank enthusiasts, think about these silly flyboys.
Przezdzieblo Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Crushing objects might be risky...click (it`s old, I know)
Marek Tucan Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 gah, why crush the MiG? Take it to museum FFS!
TonyE Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 If a video would pop up showing an M1 running over a whole lineup of factory fresh drones i would give a standing salute.
Max H Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 that would be fun to watch, all the carbon composite bits would crumble in a pleasing fashion

sunday Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 If that's a Cent, WoT should be made aware of this.
bojan Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 If that's a Cent, WoT should be made aware of this. T-80 of some sort.
Damian Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Yes it is T-64E, and it seems that workers at Kharkiv Malyshev plant had some fun with it and a T-80BV as well.

jmcmtank Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 That film led to a rash of US tank commands in our mob, ie "Up!", "On the way!" etc. We were easily led....

Walter_Sobchak Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 I have a soft spot for old US propaganda films. For a while they made a series called "The Big Picture." Here are some of the tank related ones. The Big Picture: Birth of a Tank (M-48)The Big Picture: M-60 King of ArmorThe Big Picture: Armored Force (Korean war era)The Big Picture: Armored combat Power (Mid 50's) And then there is this gem, a WW2 era film about the wonderful new M-10 tank destroyer.

shep854 Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Speaking of commands, here is a 1969 video of the "Conduct of Fire" for the M551 Sheridan. Makes me miss Doug Kibbey here on TN...
Mr King Posted September 8, 2013 Author Posted September 8, 2013 Good gallery with photos that give a good representation of tank size in relation to people standing next to them, http://imgur.com/a/XMXvz
