Rocky Davis
It has been brought to my attention in the last hour that Tanknetter Carman Sinclair (Dame Karmen - TN member since 2004), died of lung cancer in May. I'm not sure how many of the TN membership knew this already or knew her. I was her friend both here and off-line. This is quite a loss for me, personally. CT96
RIP. I had been wondering, as she had "gone quiet" of late. Makes me wonder how many others who have "gone quiet" are still topside looking down on the grass vs. looking up at it from six feet under. She has been, and will continue to be missed. BP
It didn't sound like she had am easy go of it in life, but she was always of generally good spirits and certainly had her hands full with this crew. But she persevered as one of our very few ladies (and she seemed like a dame). I liked her and her presence a lot, and she will be missed.

Marek Tucan
Did not know this, thought that she just took a long vacation from the site, as soem times in the past. I am very sad to hear this, and especially after such a long time. Dame Karmen, rest in peace. And even though this is a bit strange place to say this, I want to thank Rocky for telling us. DKTanker
I looked up her old posts, she told us last October and sort of said her good byes. She definitely knew she was terminal with lung cancer. RIP, I wish I had noticed last fall. Edited August 7, 2013 by DKTanker

Corinthian
Ya know, I feel guilty for not corresponding with her that much. She was like Geoff who gave good advise out of the forum. We used to email each other when I was down, and she gave positive vibes. I feel guilty not emailing her much when she was in the deeps herself. Now that won't be possible anymore.
