I am still not convinced that the "woke right" thing makes sense. But examples such as Tucker Carlson and Candice Owens indicate that something is going on with certain ostensibly RW commentators that are insulated from the real world.

It seems obvious now that Carlson is in full malignant narcissism mode. With his huge following, I believe he feels at a cellular level that following => influence => power. With the Trump administration following the values of the people rather than Carlson, he is increasingly strident and angry that the global world is not bending to his will. I predict he will go full-Farrakhan.
