Politically is it even possible that Spain might start pursuing a more serious (aka, Turkish-like) approach to foreign policy?

Not in the foreseeable future, unless the so-called populist right get into government.

Edited to add: but not even them are going to get us out of NATO and/or UE. We would need our own nuclear weapons to do so, I guess.

As a Christian who  takes his faith seriously, I always found the "Christ is King" slogan to be suspicious and cringey.

I don’t much hold in folks on the right being called out for failing to utter the right words at the right time.

Maybe that title is too soon? Isn't He supposed to rule over the Kingdom of Heaven after His return?

Pretty much.

It also politicizes the faith, which all but weakens it

Not really. He died under the words Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum, Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews.

Lots of Christian martyrs went to death proclaiming ¡Viva Cristo Rey!, the way to say Christ is King in Spanish, both in Mexico during the Cristero War, and in Spain during the religious persecution of the 2nd. Republic and the Civil War.

And I can completely understand this.  I am still annoyed at Jamison's for removing my favorite tipple: Caskmates Stout Cask edition.  A very fine dram.  Very fine.

Just in case people forget, these were NOT invented in Wakanda:

Genetics also.

Expanding into Jesuits, add to that the Gregorian Calendar, and quinine.

Plus that Belgian priest/physicist, Georges Lemaître, that was the first one to propose the Big Bang Theory.

Yes, it’s great stuff and none of the local stores are carrying it anymore.

25 bucks here for 0,7, I just might order it to try.

If you like a flavorful whisky, served with either an ice cube or a splash of water, it’s very nice.
