Marek Tucan Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Well, as seen in the General Naval and Air, looking for any pics showing the colorful beauty... Did not find any yet though. Ironically, the best source I found on the interwebz when looking for details was this Grate Sight™
sunday Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Well, as seen in the General Naval and Air, looking for any pics showing the colorful beauty... Did not find any yet though. Ironically, the best source I found on the interwebz when looking for details was this Grate Sight™ Does the Grate Sight qualify for a WG grant, then?
sunday Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Do British cruisers have also torpedoes in WoWS?
Marek Tucan Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 (edited) There is no British tree as of now, so it remains to be seen EDIT: But there is no reason why to omit them. Edited February 21, 2014 by Marek Tucan
Harold Jones Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Will there be a lead computing sight or will you have to eyeball it?
sunday Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 What bothers me now is modelling of torpedo defense systems.
Marek Tucan Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Will there be a lead computing sight or will you have to eyeball it? All shall be revealed in time What bothers me now is modelling of torpedo defense system You mean bulges etc. or you mean stuff like degaussing?
sunday Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Bulges are so interwar period... I mean real multilayer TDSs like those on Iowas or Yamatos. Modellers should have lot of fun with the Pugliese cylinders of the Littorios.
Chris Werb Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 No. But this sight is truly great. That,s "GRATE" for there most part sport!
Marek Tucan Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Bulges are so interwar period... I mean real multilayer TDSs like those on Iowas or Yamatos. Modellers should have lot of fun with the Pugliese cylinders of the Littorios. Frankly had to look the pugliwhatever thingie ... Though reading on actual results it would seem that it would not do much good

Though reading on actual results it would seem that it would not do much good Oh, there was a oooold discussion on the old warships1.com forums about the Pugliese system, and from what I recall, and based on some recently unearthed plans, seems the take of Garzke and Dulin was wrong in the sense that the inner cylinder was not meant to collapse. Also, as the Sovetsky Soyuz class was designed to mount that TDS, so the WoWS team have to model it.

Marek Tucan Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Happy birthday, USS Texas! (Okay, it prolly boils down to whether you take birthday as date of launch or of commission... So maybe "Happy coming-of-age day") HERE
Marek Tucan Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Hard to say, but generally I would say the "slowest" of "World of..." - though as you can read in the gameplay description, it kinda is slow until it gets too fast When the torpedo wakes pop out off your flanks, it get exciting and very short
