Allan W Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Can you give us any idea what ship classes will be included for each nation?

Max H Posted April 21, 2014 Author Posted April 21, 2014 Has anyone mentioned dazzle camo? We need dazzle camo in this game
Marek Tucan Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Dazzle camo is frequent topic on the forums... I guess a least some ships will have it
Marek Tucan Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 (edited) A short report from the first tournament. LINK Been there, Done that, got my ass handed to me... Though the enemy BB who plowed towards our carrier through smoke got a nasty surprise when my two spreads of torpedoes stitched it. Edited April 27, 2014 by Marek Tucan
Lieste Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Your URL doesn't work for the last one, though the article is findable going to one of the other links and navigating.
Marek Tucan Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Fixed. Oh and there is also article on bots - not all of 'em are bad
Paul G. Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 You guys realize this game is by the same people that gave you WoT right? And that they come with all the same strengths and weaknesses apparent in that game. If WoWP was just WoT with planes...why will this be different?
Edmund Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 I have wanted a good warship game for some time. Hoping this is it. Warspite versus the Bismark. Tough not but not impossible for Warspite to win. Well it is British right . Colorado versus Nagato. They seem comparable. Good fun.

Harold Jones Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 It is the same company but each game is made by different teams for the most part. Although they all seem locked into using the same game engine, 10 tiers of progression, and a matchmaker that shares a common set of assumptions about how to form a competitive match. I think that WoWS will get more crossover from WoT as I suspect that switching from tanks to ships will be easier than switching from tanks to planes. The biggest difference will be the time you have to make decisions, it will likely be closer to WoT than WoWP.
RETAC21 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 One thing that could be set from the get go is Historical battles - naval aficionados tend to be more picky on the accuracy of the games. A historical battle mode from the first day will greatly enhance the game.
Mistral Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I would also love a one vs one mode. It would settle the x vs y debate once and for all
sunday Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Taking in account how fast naval electronics changed in WWII, the 1vs1 confrontations could have very different outcomes depending on the date. Marek is going to hate me, but I think it would be nice to know if the time required to get a firing solution, the differences between director-controlled fire and fire using local control, and remote power control would be considered in the game.

Marek is going to hate me, but I think it would be nice to know if the time required to get a firing solution, the differences between director-controlled fire and fire using local control, and remote power control would be considered in the game. I expect that would be accounted for by something like aim time in WoT
sunday Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 But WoT-style aim time could apply to local control only. No target obscuration, nor need to reacquire it in director-controlled mode.
