Burncycle360 Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 It'd be interesting to see how Namer fits into their current organization
Burncycle360 Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Here's a Battalion Landing Team (at least the ground combat element): http://i.imgur.com/ddq3SIK.jpg Visual TO&Es are awesome
Fritz Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 That is one beautiful photo, you have tanks, armored cars and artillery in the same unit.
X-Files Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Vietnam-era Armored Cavalry Troop (Sheridans, M113s, etc)? 1943 Tank Destroyer Battalion?
Fritz Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 As I'm putting stuff on deviantart, I'm wondering if anybody would buy prints of the viz T.O.E.s... would definitely make me do a lot more, including other nations. Hell I'd love to make a whole artbook... Sadly I imagine the actual market would be in the single digits...

Of course if your not interested for any reasons, than it's no problem
Fritz Posted February 24, 2015 Author Posted February 24, 2015 Well give me a bit more details than "something Japanese"
JasonJ Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Well give me a bit more details than "something Japanese" lol, ok Type 5 Ho-Ri with a sloped front hull. Google gives only 1 low quality 3D model of it made. For more specific modeling details, the Type 5 Chi-Ri tank can be used as a guide.
Fritz Posted February 28, 2015 Author Posted February 28, 2015 Any chance to get front/top views? Just side view is really not enough...
JasonJ Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Any chance to get front/top views? Just side view is really not enough... Yea, I'll produce some images here. Give me some time Although a clean and accurate set of side, top, front of the same thing won't be available. I'll do what I can. This might be a bit time consuming to model.
JasonJ Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 (edited) For the hull and suspension, use the Chi-Ri. For the front hull slope, you'll need to apply some creativity. For the upper super structure, again, you'll have to use some creativity. If you can post some pictures during the process, I can give bits advise on how something should look, backed up with with pictures or descriptions whenever possible. Although the muffle on the Ho-Ri does not come out on the rear hull like the Chi-Ri but on the top of the main hull superstructure, in front of the superstructure where the gun is mounted. JasonJ Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 A decent plastic model has been made of the Ho-Ri with the sloped front hull. These should be ok to follow.
JasonJ Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 So how do you think? Maybe some other time? Need more incentive? Too ugly?
Fritz Posted March 15, 2015 Author Posted March 15, 2015 Oh if I have spare time, why not, but I have several things I'm working on right now, so it's not going to happen soon.
demosthenes Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 What's the best source for U.S cold war era TO&Es?
Fritz Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015 That's actually something I'd like to know as well.
