Guess I'm not the only one going back to the TD lines after this last patch. Won the game on my own. We were southern team and 1/2 rushed mid and died and the other 1/2 sat on that hill and died. I was originally hill and then moved to the SW hill to cover that approach. I'm actually liking this TD, to my surprise. The Acc changes, a unique firing arc that let's you abuse certain corners, and a 165 pen/300 dmg gun make it rather nice at tier 5.

The above was a net 63k game. Not a bad little tank to boot. Ridiculous dpm for its tier (~2k) coupled with a high pen gun so even higher tiers aren't too much of a problem. If it actually had some speed it'd be a perfect tank.

The Maus should've been easy (and I shouldn't have lost any hps) but a mouthbreather in a tier 10 Patton ran away while I got in position (and ran away into the enemy base and 2 TDs and promptly died... I ripped into him for the rest of the game for it). I still don't get why folks would play this game to just run around scared of fake internet tanks.

I'm on the west team and most of my team just charges down the one road and gets wiped out. No one went north and we have 4 at our base but the two that are actual tanks/TDs appear to be AFK. Once an enemy is spotted up north I move back to try and salvage what appears to be a sure loss. There were two arty in base and I plead with them to run. If they can move into the dunes in the south I could spot for them and maybe we'd have a chance. What do the two morons do? (Their names were corey590 and mrman949.) They charge towards the spotted enemies up north yelling in All 'die with honor.' /sigh So here's how I won it. The two enemies are a B1 and Pz IV. I get in some shots on the B1 but he's taking as much life from me. I pull back and begin a wide circle around the town north of the base and hope to get in behind them. A Marder on my team that was in the dunes with me comes down and damages the Pz IV so he's one-shottable, but gets killed himself (the Pz IV appeared to be running the derp gun). There are now 7 tanks against just me. I come in behind them both and take out the B1 before he can fire on me. I then wait till I'm no longer visible, move up in a different area, and one-shot the Pz IV before he can aim on me. Five to one. I move up to the base and get in some bushes. I see one enemy tank and one arty coming over the open area in the north. I take out the tank and wait a sec but the arty has moved to cover. I don't have Sixth Sense yet on this tank (hence why I'm playing it during this special) and figured maybe I wasn't spotted. Nope. Arty comes down on me. Down to less than half my health and figure it's a loss for sure. Move out of base in the back and swing far north. Come up in a depression between some dunes and see the arty once my binocs turn on. Ammo rack him. Three to one. Move a little further east and spot the enemy Chuchill I. Swap to gold and bounce two shots. He turns to aim at me and I scram. Move even further north and swing into their base. Climb their hill and spot their arty. Two-shot him. I then move up a little further to see if the Churchill is coming back. I don't see him but spot their other low tier medium in base trying to engage me. Move to a hull down spot and kill him. One on one now. Since the Churchill wasn't spotted I figure he's too far away to get back and I cap for the win. Edited July 30, 2013 by Skywalkre

Nice way to end the evening. The tank of the month coupled with the mission means some amazing earning potential lately. I was down to a few hundred k before this month. Was at ~5.5 million this evening before I burned 1 mil on equipment for the Indien (starting that grind again... ugh).
