During the one-semester course, Sheehi subjected Jewish students to anti-Semitic coursework and lectures, at times suggesting their failure to acquiesce would threaten their future as clinical psychologists. In September, she invited a radical speaker to campus who has falsely claimed that Israel tests its missile systems on Palestinian children.

The event occurred between the Jewish High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The speaker, Dr. Nadera Shalhoub-Kevorkian, used the occasion to denounce "white Israeli racism," accuse Israel of using global relief work "to camouflage" its "oppressive power," and call for violence against Jewish people. The visiting professor went on to praise a Palestinian teenager who attempted to stab two Israelis to death in 2015.

Well, she is intending to marry him, and as we all know, on the left intentions are supremely important in all matters, so obviously there is not the slightest chance she will face any charges.

Duh.

Next thing you'll be saying is that men, intending to become women are not actually women, even though that is their intention. Or if you post a hashtag to support the Current Thing, you aren't actually doing anything real.

You horrid horrid bigot.

This woman is freaking huge, an ad for the extremely morbidly obese, and a liar to boot.  If I saw her, I would be afraid she would try to eat my children for lunch.

A lot of people are morbidly obese so it makes sense for marketing to target tehm.  That their exemplar is a far left radical who defames people could and should hurt them.

I cannot disagree, but the left loves those sorts of people, they listen to the "Narrative".

The headline on a BBC Arabic piece claims the article traces the “story of suicide attackers throughout history”, from a Jewish group living under the Romans to today’s jihadists, and is illustrated with an image of the Twin Towers exploding.

A little further into the piece, an image of Osama bin Laden appears close to the subheading “Extremist Jews”.

This section says: “It is believed that the first suicide attacks […] were by a group of Jewish fanatics who spread fear […] during the Roman occupation.”

Elsewhere the article describes only Jews as “fanatics”, while omitting to use the word “terrorist” when discussing Palestinian terror groups. Lord Carlile, the government’s former independent reviewer of legislation, warned the BBC about publishing “deliberate and sometimes even casual antisemitism”, adding that article gave “succour to terrorists and extremists”.

Always with the Romans;

And the latest thing that has caught the worried eye of the culturati is an apparent fascination, supposedly expressed by Very Online Males, with ancient Rome. The odd twist of this story is that women in increasing numbers are apparently asking men in online relationship platforms how often they think about the Roman Empire.

The Washington Post was alarmed enough to publish a feature on this troubling phenomenon.

2.) 1453 with the fall of the Eastern or successor Roman Empire

3.) The Roman Catholic Church is the successor to the Roman Empire continues on.

Personally, I find this databit of info on the differences between men and women extremely amusing.  While I am sure there are many many men who never think about the Roman Empire at all (pretty sure I know a few myself), I daresay there is more than an element of truth here, and of my current group of male friends (at least those I see regularly), every single one of them will pipe in if a discussion veers into things Roman (or WW2  or Monty Python, or Tolkien, for that matter). The same definitely cannot be said for the female friends and acquaintances. (with some exceptions, of course).

But let's not overdo it. Personally, I don't think about the Roman Empire that often. Maybe only 3-4 times a week. Well, unless I am reading or watching something about the Romans, which I guess happens somewhat regularly. Or unless my eldest son forwards a youtube video covering how every Roman emperor met his demise, or if I am looking into how quickly to build a palisaded camp for your military contingent (as one does), or...

Speaking of Menendez;

https://freebeacon.com/democrats/all-the-bribes-dem-senator-bullion-bob-menendez-received-and-what-he-did-in-exchange-according-to-prosecutors/

Quote

Gold bullion: Federal agents discovered gold bars in the Menendez home worth more than $100,000, according to the indictment. The bars, which weigh one kilogram each and have the markings of the "Swiss Bank Corporation," were allegedly provided by either Hana or Daibes.

Sold national secrets to Egypt: Menendez allegedly "provided sensitive U.S. government information and took other steps that secretly aided the government of Egypt," according to the indictment. Following a 2018 meeting with Hana, Menendez requested and received sensitive, non-public information from the State Department on "the number and nationality" of employees at the U.S. embassy in Egypt, according to the indictment. He allegedly texted that information to Nadine, then his girlfriend, who forwarded it to Hana, who in turn forwarded it to an Egyptian government official.

Meddled with the justice system: The senator on two separate occasions in 2019 attempted to strong-arm a prosecutor in the New Jersey Attorney General's Office into resolving cases in Uribe's favor, according to the indictment. In exchange for Menendez's interference in the first case, Uribe gave Nadine Menendez the Mercedes-Benz convertible, worth more than $60,000, prosecutors say. They add that while Bob Menendez was interfering in the second case, he and his wife had a celebratory dinner with Uribe and another associate.

Told Egyptian official what senators would ask: In June 2021, Nadine Menendez organized a private meeting between Bob Menendez and a senior Egyptian intelligence official. On the day of the meeting, Bob Menendez provided his wife with a copy of an article on "questions that other U.S. senators" intended to ask the official in a meeting one day later. Nadine Menendez in turn provided the article to the official and wrote, "This way you can prepare your rebuttals." Two days afterward, Hana bought gold bars, two of which ended up in Menendez's house.

Menendez has looked dirty for years, so I figured the federal case against him had merit. But this stuff is a whole 'nuther level. I'm going to assume that it was his very close association and financial ties with a foreign government which caused the Feebies to stop ignoring his antics.

A one-kilo gold bar would be worth about 62 grand USD at current spot prices. Seems probable that Hana had to pay with some form of bank check (counter check, maybe?) or EFT; that much cash would provoke all sorts of Treasury Dept alarms. Yet the feds seem quite confident about the bars and who bought them. With the looming menace of CBDCs and the elimination of cash, it seems obvious that the federal government would be tracking physical gold purchases in anticipation of another confiscation a la Executive Order 6102. Physical bullion is clearly not a good medium of exchange for incautious criminals.
