...They were wrong I'm not knowledgeable on the "End Times" as it doesn't interest me and it will occur long after I'm physically dead. While God is seldom early, he is never late. 

The book of Daniel, Matthew 24:5, and pertaining to discussions on this Grate Site; 2 Timothy3:1-9 and 4:3-4 are relevant. Why I believe we are actually in the beginning page of Revelation is due to the socially acceptable breakdown of the family; of a man and a woman becoming husband and wife, then a father and mother. The wrenching away of the responsibility of manly leadership; of the husband and father being a provider and protector of his family, of the proper (Christian) or even similar fatherly discipline needed for the family, especially boys.

We are seeing the promotion of a wife's "career" take precedence over her responsibility of the home. We are seeing what happens when the lovingly proper role of the mother has been corrupted by feminism.

I have posted earlier on the sin of homosexuality as the top of slippery slope as the  downward slide of L.B.G.T... ad infinitum ad nauseam moral and civil degradation continues and will only get worse as time goes by.

Concerning disease and pestilence, imo it is not A.I.D.S. nor the recent viruses making the news that is the problem as it is the overly oppressive hand of government's reaction to these limited health problems.

Couldn't the end times concept really be a parable for getting your "house" in order when society starts to get rough so you come out of the rough times in good order rather than as a corpse?

What if your mind is transferred to a virtual machine in the cloud? You, or your persona at least, could still be around 10,000 years from now.
