The Insane Rationalizations, Bigotry And Out Right Hypocrisy Of The Left

Oh I see what the point was. If a slave developed blacksmithing skills for example there were accounts of them turning this to their advantage and making money on the side or people actually compensating them for the skills. ie, sharp folks, even when enslaved were able to position themselves to advantage. Which says everything about the persons doing so.

But the left is using this as an example of people trying to justify slavery, which is not the point of the observation. Just that extraordinary people when they could advanced themselves. George Washington Carver was born a slave, at an early age managed to find education and learning and became a force for agriculture in the US based on that education.

Exactly, it does not fit "The Narrative!"   Plus they ignore the utter cruelty of BLACK slave owners.....

I guess this didn’t post? It was stuck in my reply/post cache.

This could go in several FFZ threads;

The lobbying division of Anheuser-Busch, the beer-making conglomerate that produces Bud Light, Michelob, and other brands, owns the bar. The invitation-only pub is off-limits to the public, and the event I briefly attended was an ethically-dubious influence-peddling operation.

While fundraisers for lawmakers are everyday occurrences across the luxurious bars and restaurants that line Capitol Hill and Penn Quarter, this event was slightly different.

Political operatives desperate for cash are turning to brazenly pitching access to congressional staffers that manage the day-to-day work of members of Congress.

Such was the case last week. The lobbyists at Anheuser-Busch offered their private bar to Elect Democratic Women PAC, a group that raised $7.8 million for the Democrats last year. The event was billed as a “Chiefs of Staff Happy Hour,” with tickets ranging from $500 to $5,000.

"The solicitation of campaign contributions by the PAC with promises of meeting and mingling with “Chiefs of Staff” is a pay-for-access scheme that may well run afoul of congressional ethics rules," said Craig Holman, a lobbying expert with Public Citizen.

Not a problem if democrats. The height of corruption if republicans or independents who threaten the DNC.

Pizzagate likely not debunked, then.

Except in this case he wasn't projecting pedophilia on the part of others, he was denying it was a problem at a ll.

I mean maybe she's a unicorn as a socialist lefty, but Shoe-on-Head clearly recognizes the fact that so many on the left are actively denying or worse defending pedophilia.

Disgraced former ABC News reporter James Gordon Meek is facing at least five years in prison after pleading guilty to child pornography in a Virginia federal court Friday.

Meek, 53, admitted to transporting and possessing child sexual abuse material, which carries jail time ranging from 5-20 years.

Under federal sentencing guidelines that come with his guilty plea, Meek is likely to face far less than the max at his Sept. 29 sentencing.

Meek, a once-acclaimed national security journalist, was hit with the federal charges in February roughly 10 months after the FBI raided his Arlington, Va., home April 27, 2022, seizing his electronics.

Meek resigned from ABC News and went off the grid immediately after the raid.

That said, there is no apparent connection between Meeks and Pizzagate or Qanon coverage.

You are indeed correct Sir, they did have a KKK delegation.  In many places in the South membership in the KKK was needed to get elected as a Democrat.  They had very few, if any Republicans.

IIRC Truman flirted with joining them for that reason.

And Clinton said as much during Robert Byrd's funeral, about his white sheet indiscretions.

Yes.  My grandfather from East Texas called the KKK people: "No account inbred white trash".  He was not given to strong statements as a general rule, he made an exception for those people.

Clinton's early political mentor was Sen. Fulbright, a segregationist.

I am reading a bio of John Edgar Hoover, and he hated Blacks, Catholics and Jews pretty equally.  He also tried to stop the Civil Rights movement thinking they were communist.  Probably if someone had terminated Hoover back in the 1930's the county (and FBI) might not be in as bad a shape as it is.  The man was totally evil.

Then, as now, Marxists used whatever rebellion that was convenient.  W.E.B. Dubois, father of the CR movement was an ardent follower of Marxism and was awarded the Lenin Peace Prize in 1959.
