Good luck convincing a jurythat a person being misgenerded is "terrorized, frightened, or threatened".  The claim in the headline that calling someone by the wrong pronouns been made illegal per se is as false as claims trump called neo-Nazis "good persons".

They won't have any problems in Ann Arbor, Battle Creek, Detroit metro, Flint, Grand Rapids, or Lansing.

Or so you say.  That assumes, of course, that the juries are made up exclusiccly by university folks rather than townies and have no moderately conservative Muslims

Seeing as it's not even an offense, it's a touch premature to jump on the outrage bus.

A federal court in Texas rejected “persecution” claims by The Satanic Temple this week in a lawsuit challenging pro-life laws that protect unborn babies from abortion.

The Satanic Temple, which has been involved in abortion activism for years, claims that aborting unborn babies is a “ritual” and Texas pro-life laws violate its members’ religious freedom.

However, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas rejected its lawsuit this week. Bloomberg Law reports the court described the lawsuit as cryptic and noted the lack of basic facts about plaintiff “Ann Doe’s” standing to sue.

I was trying to find this...who the hell is QAnon anyway? Is it the same people to said the OK hand gesture was a 'white supremacist code' or something?

Not in this one.

One could think that equating the anti-child trafficking message with Qanon would translate into more people thinking of Qanon as something positive.

But maybe it's just me.

When your movie is “presold” by marketing, all but ensuring its profitability by simply extolling the values of a faith-based film even if this isn’t wholly confined to that genre, maybe you don’t try as hard to give it heart and get it right.

Miles Klee, the writer responsible for a Rolling Stone article mocking the movie “Sound of Freedom,” has made a hasty retreat by locking down his Twitter profile amidst backlash, according to Revolver News.

It is not clear if his tweets have always been protected, although many people believe it’s recent.
