On Tuesday night, Davis was a guest on Henry Louis Gates’s PBS program, “Finding Your Roots.” On the show, he revealed the shocking truth about her heritage.

Turns out, Angela Davis is a descendant of a Mayflower pilgrim. Yes, her ancestors are those “evil white men” she has been railing against for years.

When one considers Davis’s lifelong advocacy for reparations for slavery, her logic dictates that she owes money to the descendants of slaves.

You really hate to see a radical left figure get humiliated like that on national television. But more than that, you love to see it.

Oh yeah and not just on the frontier or plantation.  I dare say three hundred years of a multi ethnic Roman occupation caused some of my ancestors to be melanin enhanced, and who knows who traveled through on the main road north from London over the centuries.

A few pages back there was a video presented of someone called Don Lemon. Not familiar with him, but the "misogyny" claim is based on his statement that women have an age-limited desirability factor.

If you've not been following the anti-feminist narrative, this claim forms part of their "red pill" position and is primarily directed at "hookup culture". It's not new - Kevin Samuels has been disabusing women of their absurdly axxagerated self valuation for some time.

It's quite an interesting position and has its pros and cons - the cons are, I think, the way the argument is misunderstood by "incels", particularly those who follow (but also fail to understand) the whole "Top G" thing coming out of the Andrew Tate school of exploitative social media influence, and overall it's a bitter pill to swallow and could do with a bit more depth.

It starts with the concept of "hypergamy" and the asymmetric "mating" choices of men and women, goes into "body count", differentiates between "value" as a hook up versus value as a life partner, tends to avoid talking much about the exploitation of women by "high value" men and tends to warn the highly sexually active and/or career minded women that the majority of them (it is claimed) will suddenly realise that they're approaching forty, want to settle down and have children, but no man that they want to be with will want to be with them as they're past their notional sell by dates.

It's an interesting narrative, and it's probably the first attempt I've seen at a coherent position to counter the raging feminist supremacy movement. It's far from flawless, though.

I suspect part of it is we've flipped the racial purity laws for the race hustlers, now one drop of caucasian blood makes you only partially black to activists.  Having never had a genetic test, they know in their bones that they have no white contamination.

Except Lemon wasn't addressing Nickey Haley's ability to have children or even her sexual desirability. He was framing that fecundity of their 'prime' as a proxy for their ability to function as a president or in other office. This was in response to Haley asking if Biden or the other 70+ politicians were up to the task because of their age. 

Good old Don was not connecting that child bearing age and age of competent thinking and decision making aren't the same thing. Which was why he was sent to reeducation training. I guess given his experience with women he doesn't know about these things. He just heard age and prime for women and latched onto that for his hip shot at Haley.

Now, sure, I suppose there might be some brits who liked Thatcher cause they had fantasies about getting on with her and putting a child in her but I never saw much arguing that she made a great PM because she could still bear a child and carry it to term. I am pretty sure she was probably past 'the change' by the time she was PM.

Argument wouldn't apply to Mrs. Clinton, or VP Harris who is eight years older than Haley, because they belong to the correct party.

I saw that in England people with Norman names on average were wealthier than people with Saxon names.

Makes sense.  After the Norman conquest, their leaders became the major landowners.  Those guys would be the first to adopt family names and would take Norman-French ones.  The decedents of the ordinary warriors and the other commoners would end up adopting English names.

Mind you, the family at the top or the pecking order took a Welsh name in the 15tth century, a Scots one in the 16th, a German one in the 18th and finally an English one in the 20th.

My father was of English, Welsh, and German ancestry, but in his prime he looked like he was Sicilian. Those Roman motherfuckers...
