You have to respect the Democrats for being utterly ruthless in accomplishing their aims.  Before the votes this was all the Inflation Reduction Bill as full court press.  It got voted in along party lines and all of a sudden the major new outlets are calling it what it is, a tax and climate change/Green new deal bill.  They will put up with almost unlimited damage to the US so long as it moves the ball along their way.

This.  They know damned well that who is in power is cyclical and they will move forward, get clobbered in the fall, they won't lose any ground and in 2 or 4 or 6 years they and their allies will convince soccer moms and guilty white people to put them over the top and into power.  And they will do the cycle again.

And his opponent, Trump endorsed Dr. Oz, is falling further and further behind.  Trump candidates may do well in primaries, but in general elections not so well.

I thought Dr. Oz would not be a good candidate. From what I hear he is not running a campaign. His opponent, John Fetterman seems like some one who would be easy to beat. A fake man of the people who is really a rich man child playing tough guy who's parents supported him financially well into his 40s. And his political views seem hard left for a state like Pennsylvania that is moderate. On top of that Fetterman had a stroke and is doing a "Hidden Joe Biden" maneuver. Well I guess it worked for the current president.

J.D. Vance running as a Republican for the Senate seat in Ohio has also been some what absent. His opponent his been running ads ten to one over the amount. Supposedly he is waiting until after labor day to make his move. I hope he had a fun summer instead of doing his job and getting out and campaigning.

Matt Dolan would have been a better candidate for Ohio and David McCormick would have been better in Pennsylvania.

If the Republicans lose those two seats in the U.S. Senate it will all but guarantee Democratic control of the Senate. 

I wish Trump would just stay out of the local races.
