Err, Nikki did make Anaconda tho . . .

I'll happily admit that that reference sails over my head at U2 heights and I don't have a Big Mesh to spot it.

I honestly can't tell if our elites are more stupid than elitist.  There are so many examples of decision makers and what have you not just practicing the opposite of what they preach but seeming legitimately confused when it is pointed out to them.  I mean you literally have people like Pelosi at her fundraiser or the glitterati at the Emmy's who not only are not following mask mandates but have servants who have to wear color coordinated PPE.  This is the literal definition of lording status over another so it has to e purposeful.  It is fascinating to see the self proclaimed advocates of the working and servant-class treating them as intentionally dismissively as any Victorian nobleman.

The only confusion the elites experience is that they don't understand why an elite would be expected to follow rules.

Who the fuck names their kid "London Breed"? 😮

She was raised by her grandmother in public housing.

She has a brother named Napoleon Brown who was convicted of Manslaughter 20 years ago. He pushed a woman out of a getaway car.

https://heavy.com/news/2018/12/napoleon-brown-london-breeds-brother/
"Back in June 2000, Napoleon Brown was one of several people who were involved in robbing a Johnny Rockets restaurant on Chestnut Street in San Francisco. What happened next is not completely clear. The thieves got into a getaway car, which may or may not have been driven by a young woman named Lenties White. White’s family saysthat there is absolutely no way she would have been driving a getaway car, since she was an anxious, panicky person who would never have dared get involved in a risky operation.

In any case, White was in the getaway car — a white Escort which belonged to her — while it was crossing the Golden Gate bridge on the night of the robbery. Napoleon Brown eventually pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and said that he had pushed White out of the moving car and into incoming traffic. She was struck by a car and died of the injuries in the emergency room that night. White, 25, was a mother of two who was studying to become a house painter and working nights as a concessionaire."

Oh, it gets better. Apparently Breed was Willie Brown's kid's baby sitter.

Therefore, I will be introducing legislation that will require all inseminators to undergo vasectomies within 6 weeks from having their third child or 40th birthday, whichever comes first.

Further, this legislation will allow Pennsylvanians to take civil action for unwanted pregnancies against inseminators who wrongfully conceive a child with them.

This legislation will also empower Pennsylvanians to enforce this new law by offering a $10,000 reward for reporting to the proper authorities those scofflaws who have not complied with this statute within the allotted timeframe.

Despite the Obama Presidential Center being built for the benefit of historically underprivileged communities of color, housing experts say without timely and robust housing protections, it may become a catalyst for displacement, pushing out the residents it intended to help.

"Gentrification" is a persistent problem for socialists. Without the rookeries, they lose recruiting grounds. it was ever thus.

Maybe.  I go to gentrified neighborhoods and see a lot of signs that say "BLM" and "abolish the police."  The first is mad ironic for all sorts of reasons.

Champagne socialists are a different issue. See Sheryl Crowe for social commentary regarding RV ownership, for example.

In London, a number of urban regeneration schemes dropped tower blocks into fairly genteel neighbourhoods post war - you can see these random sinkhole estates plonked into what are now run-down but still superficially pleasant areas with town houses all converted into high-density bedsits with every room a separate "apartment".

Here's a typical example, on the one side nice townhouses, on the other, a typical council punishment block.

A Texas school district administrator suggested that teachers covering the Holocaust should assign a book that has "other perspectives."

NBC News obtained audio of the comments made by Gina Peddy, executive director of curriculum and instruction for the Carroll Independent School District in Southlake, Texas. Peddy was addressing teachers concerned that they would have to remove "antiracist" books from classroom libraries in response to a state bill, House Bill 3979, that restricts the teaching of critical race theory.

"Just try to remember the concepts of 3979," Peddy responded. "And make sure that if, if you have a book on the Holocaust that you have one that has an opposing, that has other perspectives."

Teachers in the meeting could be heard on the audio erupting in response to Peddy's comments, some of them laughing. "How do you oppose the Holocaust?!" one asked.

Is the proposition that it takes a man and a woman to create new life controversial?  10 years ago the answer was, of course not.  Today.....?

Today, in Texas, if a teacher chooses to discuss gender identity or artificial insemination, he needs to present both sides equally.  it's more a matter of definition and opinion than fact.  That the Holocaust happened is not a matter of opinion and, outside a fringe of anti-Semites, has never been controversial.

And yet to some people the validity of the holocaust is a question of fact.  And by the way, male human= XY, female human= XX are facts, not opinions.  Of course Mary Cooper would say, "And that's your opinion."

It's gone beyond that. It is now verboten to report on a case where a 'bisexual boy in a skirt' sodomizes a 15 year old in a school.

A uniformed police officer in the building that day was not notified by school staff, who knew about the rape almost as soon as it happened.  To have done so, we are now led to believe, is tantamount to assaulting the rapist.
