He is wrong on this:

Usually, a revolution is conducted by the peasants to throw off a tyrannical ruling class.

The Revolutions are mostly by middle class and unhappy members of the elite. Current regime change in western world is done by Academia, Media and the Administrative class in the state.

Who usually end up with their heads on the end of pike, put there by more ruthless types.

FBI has determined that the rope pull had been in place since October 2019.

In other news, the FBI spent more time investigating a faux hate crime than they did searching for Hillary's emails.

But they HAD to get Trump, he is a danger to them.

Well, Teflon Donnie is a great danger to the USA. He ignored the danger of covid 19 for weeks. While other countries are getting the spread of it under control, it is having a resurgence in the USofA and in States with hot temperatures which he said would kill it off.

I am not happy with his response on this, but the WHO did us no favors in the early days telling the world to keep their borders open and to give China a big hug of support for the PRC Central Committees benefit. The CDC did us no favors in messing up the test kits and then just throwing up their hands, then trying to beat down Washington States health department when they started testing for COVID-19 without CDC authorization.

However, Trump has very limited powers, other than at the borders, to control how this is mitigated in the US. It's obvious he thinks getting the economy back on track is more important than mitigation, but it is not going to happen if consumers aren't convinced, and they are not.

Ultimate responsibility for how this is handled falls on the local health departments and states.

Finally, Trump is not a unifying leader, he can't be, no one can be a unifier in the modern US. We have a huge ideological schism, and it won't heal anytime soon.

Wrong , other countries closed their borders something that they blasted Trump for . Suddenly was not a bad thing.

WHO also attacked USA because of that. Heck WHO was saying that the vírus was not transmissible in January and only a couple weeks ago changed their stance on masks.

Lets then talk about the CDC disasters? testing that does not work, testing that is contaminated. But i am sure they had many sexual awareness classes.

And finally, US is not like other countries with a centralized Government, there are States and they have their own responsibility.

Why the Justice Dpt. is not investigating Cuomo and NY state should be a worthwhile question.

Older People do no Matter?

Of course it is.

When your candidate is a stumbling, babbling dementia commercial you'll do anything to keep him off that stage including cancelling the debate location at the University of Michigan three months from now because COVID and now suddenly a staple of presidential campaigns must be ended completely.

It’s time to rethink the presidential debates

I don't know why you all go on and on about a past administration because it will all come to naught come Nov. when the incompetent baboon will be put in his cage.

Wait, which one? We have so many.

That would be not nice to an old person like Joe, just because he has obvious dementia.

Trump was ahead of the curve in closing the US while the rest of the world was hugging a Chinese.

The rate of infection has increased slightly, but economic activity has increased significantly.

I notice that young Americans really arent observing restrictions anymore. In the 60s there was a generation gap. I wonder if another one is brewing.

A couple of weeks ago, thousands of people were encouraged to gather together in the street to signal their opposition to racism. They were told this was more important than Covid.

Who is surprised that the rest of the people figure the restrictions are just health theatre?

In my AO, about half of the emerging cases are in the 20-29 age range. The other half is mostly the 50-59 range. Only one case out of 55 younger than 10, interestingly.

2 deaths out of 55 cases, but the most recent death was in early April. I figure that death rates will continue to subside on a per-case basis, now that ER and ICU docs have realized that the previous standard of care was hogwash.

It also appears, at least at first glance, that the percentage of cases requiring hospitalization is dropping also.

But the elites are SO much more important than the rest of us, they NEED this. They are the Nomenklatura.

Princeton University is removing President Woodrow Wilson’s name from its public policy school and a residential college due to the former president’s “racist thinking.”

“The trustees conclude that Woodrow Wilson’s racist thinking and policies make him an inappropriate namesake for a school or college whose scholars, students, and alumni must firmly stand against racism in all its forms,” announced Princeton University President Christopher Eisgruber on Saturday.

“Wilson’s racism was significant and consequential even by the standards of his own time,” added Eisgruber. “He segregated the federal civil service after it had been racially integrated for decades, thereby taking America backward in its pursuit of justice.”

The board voted on Friday to change the names of both the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and Wilson College.

The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs will now be named “The Princeton School of Public and International Affairs.”

As for Wilson College, Eisgruber claimed that the university was already planning on closing the college, but now the school will instead “accelerate retirement of the name” so that students won’t have to “identify with the name of a racist president for the next two years.”

Now, Wilson College will instead be called “First College.”

“Wilson’s segregationist policies make him an especially inappropriate namesake for a public policy school,” Eisgruber pointed out in his statement.

“When a university names a school of public policy for a political leader, it inevitably suggests that the honoree is a model for students who study at the school,” continued the university president.

“This searing moment in American history has made clear that Wilson’s racism disqualifies him from that role,” added Eisgruber of the former Democrat president.

The university president went on to say that Princeton honoring Wilson makes the university “ultimately the problem” with America today, and even suggested that in retaining Wilson’s name, the school is facilitating an environment in America that makes people believe they can behave like former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin without facing any consequences.

“Princeton is part of an America that has too often disregarded, ignored, or excused racism, allowing the persistence of systems that discriminate against Black people,” said Eisgruber.

“When Derek Chauvin knelt for nearly nine minutes on George Floyd’s neck while bystanders recorded his cruelty, he might have assumed that the system would disregard, ignore, or excuse his conduct, as it had done in response to past complaints against him,” he added.

The university president concluded by stating that these are not the only steps Princeton is taking to “combat the realities and legacy of racism, but they are important ones.”

“The steps taken yesterday by the Board of Trustees are extraordinary measures,” said Eisgruber.

Princeton University is named after the town of Princeton which is named after King William III, Prince William of Orange who as I understand it was an investor in the slave trade. Sorry, but according to the "new rules", both the university and the town are now officially cancelled, thanks for playing.

See how that works?
