AdmiralB Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 How NOT to dry your handgun.... Some BP guys dry their revolvers in the oven after cleaning. Some use the dishwasher, too.
Colin Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 (edited) But your Chinese M4-gery isn't??? Is the RCMP drinking the same Kool-Aid as the BATFE? My Norinco Ar is restricted, at least I can see the logic of the argument that it is a variant of the AR. Not the logic that it's more evil than others. My Norinco M305 (M14/M1A1 clone) is non-restricted, but my FAL is prohibited...... Hmmm since my AR is already restrictedhttp://www.theammosource.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_24_80&products_id=1111 Edited February 12, 2012 by Colin

rmgill Posted March 1, 2012 Author Posted March 1, 2012 Couple of friends playing around with a new rifle stock system.
Stargrunt6 Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Notable field mods, from The Firearm Blog:http://www.thefirear...mie-insurgents/ True confession: I have a weakness for AR's with wood furniture.
shep854 Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 How about this one? There just might be a market for nice wood to dress up AKs; it might make the Fudds like them!
Max H Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 (edited) Get a double stack magazine they said. 7 rounds isn't enough they said. I'll show them double stack...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BM-DGaNmtA0I can feel the heat generated by the ATF's rage from here. Edited March 12, 2012 by Max H
shep854 Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I first thought it had to be a gag, but here's an article from The Firearm Blog: Arsenal Double Barrel 1911
Mr King Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 That is pretty cool just for the novelty factor. I hate to be that guy, but he stood there and kept pointing the gun at his head, and it was bugging the crap out of me.
Ariete! Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 A winner for the arms of note and ridicule thread, surely. I thought we Italians ahd more sense than that...
Colin Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 You think they would have gone with a modern beavertail.
shep854 Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 OK, we've had several firearms of note; now for some ridicule... VB Berapi LP06, Worst Gun Design Ever? http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2012/03/30/vb-berapi-lp06-worst-gun-design-ever/
GPMG Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Almost as good as a double barrel 1911 a Tromix double barrel M16 will either fire 2 round bursts or full auto.http://i186.photobuc...SiameseM-16.jpg

BansheeOne Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 The Chiappa Rhino revolver is a rather thoughtful design. I'm not sure however if I like the "fake hammer" that always returns forward after both cocking and uncocking, even if there is a flag showing current condition on top.
bojan Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I have shot Metaba (basic one, not aurorevolver) and it is quite nice gun to shot even in heavier calibers. Percieved recoil is noticeably lower then other .357s, comparable to 9mm para from a heavy pistol.
Bob B Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 The Chiappa Rhino revolver is a rather thoughtful design. I'm not sure however if I like the "fake hammer" that always returns forward after both cocking and uncocking, even if there is a flag showing current condition on top. These are starting to show up at local gun shops. The most common so far is the snub nose, but the longer barrel version are around if you look a bit. They handle and point very well. However they are expensive and the lock work seems more complicated than a standard revolver such as a Ruger or a S&W.

Guest shaba Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 the pistol seems to be aimed at those who cant handle the raw power of the .22 cartridge.http://www.rticl.com/html/pistol.html
