Jim Martin
Saw 2012 last night. Ending totally pissed me off. No responsible leader, faced with the extinction of the human race, would open their doors at the last minute to allow the boarding of hundreds of thousands of others, endangering the safety of the ship, opening themselves to overrunning by a mob, overtaxing whatever rations they had on board. The ship that couldn't get its ramp up should have by rights sunk, the ignorant fcuks. "Oh, it's so inhuman, what will we tell our children?" Tell them you did what had to be done, and made the difficult choices, for the continued existance of humanity. They brought on board the ships tons of different animal species to ensure survival of Earth's biological heritage. Any bets how many of those animals wound up on the barbie when the mob they took on board ate up all the rations they'd carefully planned out for not only a long period at sea, but then a long period of planting, growing and harvesting their first crops? How "humane" is starvation and food riots? Stupid fcuking movie.

Tell them you did what had to be done, and made the difficult choices, for the continued existance of humanity. What is this 'difficult choice' thing you speak of?I cannot find it anywhere in modern society and am puzzled and intrigued by the concept...Is it related to that cryptic and mystical 'responsibility' I have heard spoken of by the elders? Elliot Howard
Finally saw "Slumdog Millionair" last night. Was a pretty good flick. Worth watching at least once. Going to see "Predators" tomorrow. I'm super pumped to see this. Will let you know if its worth a crap.
Elliot Howard
Ended up seeing "Inseption" today instead of "Predators", and I was not disapointed. That movie was way cool. Great plot, cool action sequenses, and badass special effects. 2 hours flew by in no time. A+

Jim Martin
Uhhhh....links to relevant episodes? She plays a female hostage in Sharpe's Enemy, you can search for it on Youtube, it's cut up into I think 10 parts there. It's not full on, but at one point her captors make her show off her breastseses. Shows off some nipple. Considering I was watching it at the office on a dead slow Saturday, that's about as spicy as I'd want it to get anyway. But a pleasant diversion from network alarms. Doug Kibbey
It's got almost 30 songs, which is tremendous for a soundtrack. The visuals of the movie were amazing, especially how the trees looked. If you liked that, you should also enjoy the Coen Brothers' remake of "The Ladykillers" with Tom Hanks. Superb job and another carefully assembled soundtrack. Vastly under-rated (and hilarious) movie.
Tommy Bennett
Caught The Mackensie Break as it was starting. I had only a vague memory of the film, but it wasn't bad. The German POWs sang one of those wartime songs complete with stomping and banging that are so appropriately defiant. Lots of uniform details, but planes, vehicles and U-Boat were too modern. Worth a glance.
Gregory
Saw "Moon" with Sam Rockwell. An absolute gem in my book, best movie I've seen in years. Oh, and an awesome soundtrack.

Fritz
Saw Inception today, probably the best movie I saw this year, so far. Funny, I went to it with no clue what it is about at all.

Corinthian
Funny, I went to it with no clue what it is about at all. Same. The trailer intrigued me, especially the scene with them floating around being tied up by their team mate, and the city folding on itself. Love the soundtrack. Fritz
The soundtrack is amazing, yes. The theater I was in had gone over the top with the bass, I didn't mind at all.

Even the actors were clueless as to what the movie was about. Saw the Lovely Bones, and it was bad. 14 y.o. girl being killed and raped is supposed to be a good thing? I'll pass.Discovered this song, and makes me wonder how much material Hans Zimmer cribbed for the Gladiator soundtrack. Also saw Book of Eli finally, and enjoyed it. The sepia tones were much, but it was enjoyable.
Fritz
Re: Inception. Even the actors were clueless as to what the movie was about. YMMV. I enjoyed it greatly and didn't get lost at any point. Which IMHO means the director did a great job.

Doug Kibbey
Just saw "Public Enemies". Decent film, though I still can't understand how Christian Bale continues to find work. I detest Johnny Depp, the persona, but the boy can act.
Tommy Bennett
Anyone seen Stan Helsing? It was absurd, but I laughed. The two chicks are real easy on the eyes. Many funny and somewhat subtle throw away lines. No, I wasn't even high.
