Stefan Fredriksson
Yes, in one of the videos they mention that too. I think more films should be adapted by these guys. Caught "Blood red sky" on Netflix. A bit too drawn out, but an interesting mix of genres. Edited July 31, 2021 by Stefan Fredriksson

Mikel2
5 hours ago, Adam Peter said: how the Luftwaffe was destroyed, historically accurate depiction The director of "Wings" in 1927 (William Wellman) had seen combat in WWI as a fighter pilot over France. He quickly found out that if he staged the dogfights in a realistic way, spectators would not see anything or understand what was happening. So the "Star Wars" style of cinematic dogfighting was born almost 100 years ago. Clara Bow 😍
Ssnake
...it's not as awesome, as the title, the movie cover, or the synopsis suggests. Though the editing of the film is rather decent, too. Heck, I even liked the song that they wrote and recorded for it. And there's deserved nods towards the Shaw Brothers and the invincible qualities of Drunken Master Kung-fu style. That said, out of a production budget of 20,000 dollars they squeezed about as much juice as one could possibly hope for. Avoid the German synchronization. The English version can't be worse, and who knows, it might actually improve the experience ever so slightly. I'm not going to find out in a second viewing, though. Ssnake
Oliver Kalkofe as Göring? That's a sign of top quality. I didn't expect to see him and Michaela Schaffrath in the same movie in my lifetime. Then again, her porn days are over for about two decades by now.

Soren Ras
Yawn. Coasting on residual goodwill emanating from memories of the first movie, as well as the presence of Keanu Reeves. Other than that, not even a hint of any original new thought. Edited to look essentially like a remake. Excitement level: Meh. -- Soren

Skywalkre
I had no issues with 2 and 3. Was disappointed with 3 the first time I saw it but it grew on me when I went back to watch it again years later. So speculation/rumors/etc. is that in this new one Neo was brought into this new Matrix and made into a movie star living a comfortable life (his stardom coming from none other than the Matrix movies, one scene from them can be seen playing in part of the trailer). Thus his weird visions and whatnot can be explained away from having to do with his time in the movies and his comfy life meant to dissuade him from discovering the truth. Trinity's role is... more uncertain. Is she alive? Would love to know how considering she seemed quite dead at the end of the trilogy. Some speculate she's a program which means another failsafe for Neo not wanting to take down the Matrix again. All in all the possibility exists for a good movie... but there's also concerns. So much of the trailer looks like they're just remaking the first movie with even better special effects. I'm definitely getting some uncomfortable flashbacks to The Force Awakens which ended up being a cheap and lazy remake of A New Hope. Is Resurrections going to be the same? I won't be going right away... but I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for what the reviews say. ETA: Rewatching the trailer just now... even if bad may be worth going back just to see the special effects. TrustMe
I really liked KR in the John Wick movies. I'll watch this one hoping for the more of the same action scenes.
sunday
Keanu Reeves could be one of the nicest Hollywood personalities currently alive. Stuart Galbraith
It's how we see ourselves as a nation I guess. If it's got Mark Rylance and Sally Hawkin s in it, it s going to be worth watching. The former would make even washing up interesting.
