Doug Kibbey Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Originally a horrid electronic experiment, I'm thankful every day that they decided this was better as an acoustic instrumental (which it undoubtedly is)

Doug Kibbey Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 (edited) Audioslave- Doesn't Remind Me Two thumbs up, for whatever the effort was. However you perceive it, it's powerful and moving. Since we're taking a dark turn down dangerous roads, let's put in some local flavor (from two cultures I have some experience with) Edited January 20, 2010 by Doug Kibbey
Doug Kibbey Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 "Whales and Nightengales" was a sort of personal refuge for me when I needed some peace (where it was hard to come by in '71-'72) It wasn't all sweetness and light, but her voice was. W&N was a "special place" to retire to. Most relevant, and least comforting was "Patriot Game" (and it didn't help that I had a copy of "Agony at Easter" with me for reading material) The opposite for us was the 'Stones' "Play with Fire".
