I found a small group of the GD decals you asked about, just a couple of the helmet outline unit markings was all I was able to dig up. Still interested?

Jason Posted February 1, 2002 Posted February 1, 2002 To be honest Doug, I'm not sure. For what it's worth, I cannot find a listing of a Zvezda S-37 Berkut, so it may actually be Italeri's mold. Revell/Germany has a 1/72 scale one also, it is the Italeri kit re-boxed. [Edited by Jason (01 Feb 2002).]

So, basically, we've got three different manufacturers, selling the same mold, same decal sheet, and same quality, at three different prices. Go figure, ain't the model world grand?
Jacques Posted February 1, 2002 Posted February 1, 2002 Hiya all, Here is the deal. Zvezda came out with this kit about 4 mothns before Italeri/revell. They then sell the kits, without boxes or instructions (I do not know about decals) to Italeri and Revell, who then package them up as their own to sell in their respective markets. I think the price variables is more due to the tariff's and taxes with each deal. I notice when ROG comes out with something, it is spendy here in the US for a while (representing shipping and tariff) but then it goes down, as it is then being manufactured in the US, so cheaper. DOes any of this make sense? Anyhow, all are the same kit, reboxed.
