Shweet!

I've got an M110A2 displayed myself (Or is yours an M107?). Pretty impressive. I must get more display space, though. Let's see...if I build every model I have bought, I'll need something like a Walmart to display them in. Not that I'll ever get them built. I guess there are worse addictions though.

Nice ones! BTW, what is that air-defense (?) looking vehicle is desert camo on the second shelf? Is it the DIVAD Sgt. York? It looks like an M48/M60 hull with a Shilka turret but instead of 4 guns as the Shilka your model has two. Sgt. York?

My third armor model ever, I got points deducted in a contest when the judge claimed that MBT's never get that dirty in real life! So what do you real tankers say about that? I used real dirt on the skirts. BTW I'm the only one here that prefer 1/48 AC?

Sounds like he was a bit of an eejit... I guess I owe him an apology for breaking the rules on clean Chieftans when I took this one for a spin a while back... (Yes, it's me)

Yes, it's a Sgt York, the Tamiya kit, and the howitzer is an M107. By Italeri, if memory serves.

Two closeups of wargaming stuff...

The only 1/48 stuff I've made are a couple of helicopters, now sadly destroyed. I do big stuff though, the ship's 1/350, I've a half-built 1/350 Iowa in Ireland, a 1/350 Enterprise here (Half-built) and I'll be getting a 1/350 FFG-7 as well. 1/35 for armour.

Re: M Moran

Cool tanks. What scale are they in? You don't have a close up on that F-14? Looks good.

Nice pics, Manic. You'll have to show off some more of your pics (If it's alright with the moderators) I have tons of completed kits myself and a digital camera, but no site to link from to post pics here. But someday maybe....

Email me a couple of 'em, AM.. My website has unlimited hosting space. (Well, within reason, at least.. can't host TankNet there) and the images don't take up much room on the tanknet server, do they?

I'll see if I can't take a few closer-up shots over the Christmas break when I'm back to visit them.

All the tanks are 1/35, the aircraft are 1/72. Any railroad locomotives are 1/87! (Different pics.. I'll try and find 'em)

hey guys,

if you want to become internet members of the Minnesota Military Figure Society, and there is nothing to do to become a member other than to tell me, then I can post pics for you as well.

Drop me a e-mail and I can get them up.

As a moderator, I am becoming concerned over this topic in particular because it takes a long time for us 56K people to upload it. I may transfer the pics over to the MMFS site at a later date.

Hmm.. didn't think about the pic loading time. I guess I've been on a LAN and cable modem for too long!

Fair enough.. in future I'll just post URLs to the image which can be clicked on. The forum standard is to open a new window, so we should be OK on time-to-finish-loading.
