Recognize this tank?

I have found what looks to be a scanned box cover or something for what I can only guess is either a model tank or perhaps a miniature. But I've never seen it before and it looks very nice, if it's a model tank I'd really like to buy it, but I can't find what model it is anywhere, anyone have a clue? Think it could just be some magazine cutout of a "futuristic" tank?

"Popular Science" springs to mind. Maybe it was used as an illustration in an article I read once.

I thought it might have been too, but I have looked all over and not seen anything about it mentioned about it in Popular Science or Discovery (thought maybe one of those "future" vehicle shows they do)..

Obviously it is one of Colonel Hammer's Slammers. True, not a hovercraft, this vehicle was to be used on worlds which didn't have enough atmosphere to make hovercraft efficient.

Hammers Slammers?.. I had thought before that it might have been because of the lion symbol.. but I've never seen this one before or on any sites.. have any information on that DKtanker?

Well Evan was right, it was in a Popular Science magazine, issue 268 I believe. I don't have it but someone who used that picture as a model for 3d artwork messaged me, the original in PopSci was done by Nick Kaloterakis, though I can't find a website or anything for him. Oh well.. now at least I know what it is.
