Police: 'Grossly intoxicated' woman arrested at Burger King drive thru

http://www.live5news.com/story/16537585/police-grossly-intoxicated-woman-arrested-at-burger-king-drive-thru

What a fool . . . she was discovered drinking alcohol in the drive-thru line and somebody called police. She needs to do what I do: I have a 16oz styrofoam cup from a local burger chain that I keep in the vehicle for just such occasions. A single beer does not fill the cup all the way and it looks like you are drinking a soda or a milk shake (bought at this local burger chain) to everybody outside of your vehicle. And, because it is a styrofoam cup, it keeps your beer colder longer while you drive! ;)

Looking almost as fresh as the day it was bought, this McDonald's Happy Meal is in fact a staggering six months old.

Photographed every day for the past half a year by Manhattan artist Sally Davies the kids meal of fries and burger is without a hint of mould or decay.

Also, McD's and almost everyone else's meat patties have a lot of cellulose, something like 30%. That may be why they don't go bad too quick.

So, they are advertising their new "Texas Burger" using the voice-over some guy obviously speaking with an Australian accent (most likely, not a real Australian). That schtick is more than just a little bit old, but I see it many times a day on TV and I'll just about guarantee that less than 5% of the people doing the voice-over even know where Australia is on a world globe or map.

Unless it was one of two commercials banned in New Zealand.

This thread? UAV thread? Jackbooted government thread?

Indeed, the concept behind Tacocopter is very simple, and very American: You order tacos on your smartphone and also beam in your GPS location information. Your order -- and your location -- are transmitted to an unmanned drone helicopter (grounded, near the kitchen where the tacos are made), and the tacocopter is then sent out with your food to find you and deliver your tacos to wherever you're standing.

You pay online, so the tacos are simply dropped off at your feet by the drone helicopter, which then flies back to the restaurant to pick up its next order.

During a vice operation late Friday evening, a Florida detective was trolling for hookers when he pulled up to a 47-year-old suspect and “asked if she wanted a ride.” The woman accepted the offer, got in the undercover vehicle, and “engaged in a conversation about sex,” according to a police report.

*

The woman, the detective reported, replied that the pair “could go have sexual intercourse if I bought her two double cheese burgers off the dollar menu at McDonald’s.” The cop added, “I agreed to the deal and purchased the hamburgers for $2.75.”

We are getting a Five Guys here. Looking forward to trying it once the crowds die down.

I have one less than 5 minutes from where I live. I only go there maybe once every six months since even when it's empty it's a twenty minute wait to get your order. :glare:

Good burgers, but slow as molasses in January.

There is a small hamburger stand franchise in my area called Krekels Custard, and they serve by far the best burgers and shakes I have ever had. Their burgers are the thin steak burger type and they are made to order. Unlike a lot of custard style ice cream, their custard does not taste like a heavy egg custard. Theirs is very light tasting, but with a very rich flavor. They make for the best shakes. They are famous for the Cadillacs with roster head and tail mounted on them that the owner drives around and parks out front of the joints.
