No luck finding it on the net - only one I found were either low-res or with colors distorted, but does someone has nice large and clear side and front (top one would be nice also :) )shot of the FV432 with Berlin Brigade urban camo?

I don't have a 432, but I do have a picture from TankFest 2006, which features a Chieftain in what I believe to be Berlin camouflage, if that might be of use.

If you have nice side or top pictures of it - drop them to the mail in my profile - atachment size is not a problem. Thanks...

There is a Tankograd (militarfahrzeug now isnt it?) book on the Berlin Brigade. Forget who photographed it, may have been carl shultze. Anyway, there are some excellent photos of the various machines used in the Brigade (and that camo) and its well worth picking up.

I can't send an emailed attachment through the profile - because it doesn't work that way.

However, I've uploaded it to photobucket

Works quite well against the garage behind, don't you think?

How fortuitous. :) I'm going to build a Chieftain in BB colours soon. Found a Tamiya Chieftain kit at our stores (very rare find), got it to accompany the Chieftain Jason sent me two or so years ago which I'm currently working on. :) Thanks for the links!

OT, how do they get the tank there without disturbing the grass?!?

Perhaps the bad rep of the Chieftain's mobility/maintenance was concocted to cover up its hover feature? ;)

They said in the Bovington newsletter that this was the first time the tank had been displayed after being parked static for 10 years. Hows that for reliablity. ;)

The one in my picture? Cool. Who said that the L60 was unreliable?

I believe we were both there, were we not?

Yep I was there in 2006. We really shall have to make it a proper Tanknet do at the next show. Use an M548 to bring beer supplies in or something.....

I thought swerve was going and phoned him up to find that he was on standby for work :(

I've never been to Beltring - maybe next year given sufficient warning.
