Now, I do like a decent haircut every once in a while, but as I've aged I've found it much more cost-effective to buy a Wahl clipper and zip mine down to somewhere near the 20mm mark.

If I want a treat, I'll go to the local Turkish barbers - they definitely do a better job than I can and they do that thing with the fire-on-a-stick ear hair singeing whilst they're at it.

But I've never understood men who simply won't let women cut their hair. You're still in control, you get to choose a style if you care, they're not going to give you a pompadour unless you ask for it.
