Ssnake Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 Lots of momentum transfer with fast rotating wheels touching each other. Plenty of examples from F1 races.

Ssnake Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Looking at the individual frames it looks like you're right. Maybe it was sufficient that the truck tire was just getting stuck momentarily under the other car's front chassis.

Loose tire was rotating at freeway speed and rolling forward, victim car hits it, forward energy gets converted to vertical energy, etc. Surely there is one of those compound German words custom-built for this situation? hitteenzierotatenloosetyrendielaunchenderautocar

DB Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 So, serpentza has a thing about China, primarily because he was effectively forced to flee because he'd been taking motorcycle trips that weren't fully approved by the authorities and even daring to be mildly critical in some of his vlogs and news pieces. Here he's talking about the engineering awesomeness that is the Chinese EV industry. Let's hope that their military equipment is subject to the same level of quality control.
Colin Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Yea I been following his channel for quite awhile, he is not anti-Chinese, but very anti-CCP
sunday Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 I do not recall being aware of a Stuka successor with this kind of tail
lucklucky Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 (edited) Ridiculous idea. This seems more like desinfo. Just the weight of the contraption to resist the dive G's and effects in aircraft centre of gravity. Edited April 27, 2023 by lucklucky
lucklucky Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 Interesting device at 6min, it seems the rescuer at the side door can control the helicopter positioning. You can turn on subtitles and in options translation for English or other language

lucklucky Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 Ju-87D had same vulnerability of other Ju-87 well basically all close support aircraft that is not derived from a fighter.
sunday Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 Bomb load and speed were good enough, considering the costs of developing a new aircraft, it seems.
lucklucky Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 By late 44-45 they could not be anymore operational, they needed a semblance of air superiority at least temporarely. HS-129 was an alternative but the engines were at limit and French. Jabos took over the close support.
