A good ol' conventional thrashin' of someone might be a good thing for the US and the military in a few years, other than that, China and the US are both in bed together, so I don't see the problem here.

Well, our Navy and Air Force need some live exercises. And re-taking Taiwan would do the Marines and Army good.

 

I take it you don't mean regime change? Or do you, just curious?

And as the quality of Chinese products increase, so will the cost... so there will be found (eventually) a new source of cheaper labor. Where, I cannot even begin to guess.

 

I for the life of me cannot remember where, but Vietnam has been hinted at as a reasonable source of semi-skilled labour. Whether this is the case; we will have to wait and see.
