I ask because I do not pay much attention to foreign affairs and have heard the information available in the U.S. about the detrimental effects of Communism. As you may or may not know, in the U.S. an individual can: Join or not join or switch back and forth between any church and freely participate in it and contribute money to it if you wished. The same with political parties, although there have been really only two that count. Very easy to start a business. If this business regularly employs people is when the government bureaucracy increases and this varies from state to state. Very easy to purchase anything if one has the money and there are many, many things to purchase. In my 50 years of working, I have never seen a shortage of material goods or services in the U.S. Thank you.
