I just went to the darkside. Got an iPhone 6s Plus. The Nexus 6 got so buggy it became unusable. The iPhone just works.

I have the Nexus 6. Love it. I'd like to go back to Blackberry, but I don't now if I trust them anymore.

The newest fun with Windows 10 is the "inadvertent" install. It's known that M$ was pushing the install files without the customers permission. Now, it's becoming the default selection for Update.

So far as I can determine, it is only that site and it's linked sites. I can get to support.mediacomcable.com. Totally different DNS though. I've done ping and tracert. Doesn't really give me anything. BP, I'll just keep trying your suggestion over and over. I told my wife that my personal IT guy told me to.

Done all that. Even connected directly to the modem. No luck Everything else loads in seconds. Tracert and ping both time out.

I've been dealing with them for 3 days. Mediacom is the absolute worst. By far. Is it possbile that something in my settings is timing out too soon?

Maybe someone can help with this. When I try to go to my internet provider's support page, I can't connect. The site is https://mediacomcable.com/ I was trying to end up here: https://forums.mediacomcable.com/ I've tried IE, FF, and Chrome. I've cleared cookies, the cache, and anything else I can think of. I connected directly to my modem just in case it was a router issue. I can access the site using my AT&T 4G, but not my internet providers connection. I know someone is going to say "try this moron". And I'm fine with that as long as you are right. ;-) ETA: It does the same thing on my tablet, my wife's iPad, my wife's laptop, and my phone if I use the network.

Google sells data to make money. In exchange for fairly generic user data, they give me free stuff. I'm good with that. If the IT guys are worried, they better not use any Windows OS. Like most, they are probably just doing feel good security.
