  3. right now, only one (Armoured Forces) was scanned by me. all the others were scanned by archive.org; since modern books cannot be downloaded, I printscreen all their pages one by one... Macksey 1972 TANK Fact & Feats (Guinness trivia book, same line than above linked GUINNESS 1973 AIR Facts and Feats, very entertaining and very educating) is NOT in archive.org but I can scan it, any popular clamour for it?

  7. It is done!http://ciar.org/ttk/mbt/books/ogorkiewicz/ thanks! but you forgot the ARMOURED FORCES 1970 (the Technology of Tanks (from archive.org) is in 2 versions, the lighter one is caracter recognition, so lighter but may have errors so I quote both)
  8. Armour 1960, and Armoured Forces 1970, are first and second edition of same work. if there were a popular clamor for having this scanned, make it known... Thanks! I would be interested for sure. well, after being assured by RETAC21 that his Multiple Personality Disorder qualifies as a crowdy request, here it is... Ogorkiewicz 1970 ARMOURED FORCES A History Of Armoured Forces & Their Vehicles 475p .pdf https://drive.google.com/open?id=14wssKsm5jYeiverQfXslEP8PmjmAnfZG for sake of completeness, here are toghether all three already seen ones (watch, links are new) Ogorkiewicz 1968 De
  9. Fantastic pdf! :-) Thank you! thanks to you, except covers is your jpg scans... I suggest you put pdf in same folder than your jpg's, so any interested can access both versions.
  10. mmm... Technology of Tanks is very very good imho BUT it is 1990 vintage, which incredibly is 30 years ago (in a blink) what would you guys say has been the main developments in these 30 years? ie, were you to write the index of and Annex to ToT, or its IIIrd volume, what would you list? or it is just incrementally better electronics, projectiles, armor? is the active defense (kill the enemy warhead) the main breakthrought?
  11. the 60s is a very good midway reference point in my opinion: - the first 50 years of tank development, - enclosing a hefty war laboratory to discover and digest lessons, - the end of conventional steel armor and beginning of steel-plus-whatever, - the end of conventional guns and projectiles and beginning of smooth bores shooting arrows - the beginning of the massive electronics and general wizardry let's say, the closing of the iron tank era
  12. Armour 1960, and Armoured Forces 1970, are first and second edition of same work. if there were a popular clamor for having this scanned, make it known... Thanks! I would be interested for sure. 1 is you, 2 is company, 3 is a multitude (hence popular)...
  13. EFP, shaped charge but not HollowCharge aka HEAT (difference being all mass going into slug and none into jet) was the preferred sting of a lot of 80s wunder weapons to kill hordes of soviet tanks, main advantage being huge standoff (like 50m?) I would also put antiradar chaff into each warhead (plus perhaps some kind of shrapnel or cluster or small heats, to kill as many reactive armor bricks as possible) to open the way for the next killing shot
  14. THANKS have taken the liberty of adding cover front/back/edge&lapels, and converting all into a single pdf "Ogorkiewicz 1968 Design And Development Of FIGHTING VEHICLES 301p .pdf" https://drive.google.com/open?id=18kl_wW8_ijKgOjPFQmWb7I2y4ey8c_jj
